- Yikes. AmiFileSafe has decided to un-validate itself. Info reports the drive
- as read/write, but when I try to access some files, I get an "Allocation
- Error".
- This is not good. Some other files on the disk read and write OK, others can't
- be executed (DOS error - file not executable). What is going wrong ?
-
- A friend of mine has DiskSalv 4, and he came round to help, but the "Repair"
- options (and most others) were greyed out. What can I do ? Are there any other
- repair/optimisation programs available that can cope with AmiFileSafe ?
- If not, I recommend everyone to steer clear of it until there are. It's a
- shame because it's very fast.
-
- Also, not so much a problem, when I have virtual memory on and lots of programs
- loaded, I sometimes get "AmiFileSafe out of memory errors" and have to reboot.
- This happens with large (several Mb) files. My machine only has 10Mb RAM.
-
- Any help or info greatly appreciated !!!!
-
- thanx,
